Property managers operate in a constant state of multitasking, with resident requests streaming in pretty regularly. The rule of thumb is typically to triage. If you are working with Resident 1 at the time another request comes in, keep your attention focused there, UNLESS an emergent situation occurs that needs immediate attention because it threatens health or safety.
